Really lovely afternoon tea with Indian snacks as well as sandwiches and delicious sweets, not all of which I could eat and so the staff kindly boxed them up for me. There were also amuse-bouches and add ons (soup, lassi, chocolate truffles), which added to the experience. The best Indian restaurant in Kent?

Great meal. Very interesting twist on Indian food - delicious and unusual. Excellent for a special occasion. Friendly service. Really enjoyed pianist playing wide range of well known tracks. Appreciated al the extras which kept being presented to us - soup, popadums, puris, chocolates…
Boyfriend and I went here for our 1 year anniversary/ valentines. I made them aware of this when I booked our table. They absolutely treated us, placed us in the best seats in the restaurant with balloons and placed us next to the piano player. They gave us complimentary pea soup (delicious), a pallet cleanser and chocolates. Every time they severed our food they described in detail what was on the plate. We had the best time here and were spoilt rotten. 100% recommend coming here .

"Delicious food and fab service We’ve eaten here twice in recent months and each time the food has been delicious! The first time we had the set lunch, and then last night the Bottomless Thali.
Both have been fab; flavoursome and tasty.
The staff and service is great too. Ashar, the manager, in particular is brilliant and an asset to the restaurant.
I’d highly recommend The Cook’s Tale, and plan to return again soon!"
